They _do_ evaporate, but they also absorb CMB, and right now CMB > evaporation. Later, when CMB fully dissipated they can evaporate in practice.

It _will_ happen, but first dark energy needs to be strong enough to expand the universe fast enough (faster than light) so that CMB wouldn't be able to reach anything.

Note that by the time black hole evaporation would be significant the CMB will be long gone because of dark energy (universe expanding). All this means that evaporation is delayed till there is nothing else left apart from black holes (beca

I once had a friend who said that his brother could dance to any "music". This included the sound of oil being heated in a pan. I also have some flashbacks sometimes, when I hear familiar sounds and I sometimes see things in a fra

This is the reason why I don't use Instagram...and that it also tries to force you to install an app instead of using the browser because you know...they can spy more from a phone.

I also couldn't believe it when I realized it a while ago! Also...I hear Arch more often lately. Why would someone choose Arch over let's say Ubuntu? I'm curious. Never used it.

Can you name a few examples? From what I've seen I can now run a Linux within my Windows, that solves my long-standing gaming vs developing problem. I can finally run Docker properly on my Windows box, and literally everything else tha

I think OSS is a hoax. We're incentivized to give away immeasurable amounts of our time and 99% of these people don't get back much (if anything). I've been producing OSS code for 3-4 years, and although I'm really happy

How does this relate to Prisma? https://www.prisma.io/ Do any of you have some experience with it? Also, I think it would be even better if there was a library like JOOQ for Java: https://www.jooq.org/ It n

When I was a kid I lived in the suburbs (Hungary) and I was cycling all day. It was great. I want the same for my kid and for that we had to move to the countryside because the capital (Budapest) became hell on earth in the last 10 years.

Slacking has nothing to do with your whereabouts. A person can slack while they are sitting next to you. What you need instead is a way to evaluate performance and take action based on that performance.

I don't get this. We have an arrangement with my wife that I take the kid for a few hours right after work (we usually go to the park) so she gets her uninterrupted free time, then I also get mine at night when she goes to sleep (I usu
