I still have a blue rubber duck with "integer overflow" written on it. Got it many years ago but interestingly enough I never used it.

I worked for a shop that adopted the Pivotal model and I can say that it was hell on Earth. If you check the research data it is obvious that pairing is only effective in some very special cases like: knowledge transfer for new teammates, o

It is very simple. There is no easier way of getting ahead of other employees than staying longer in the office. It requires no effort. Unfortunately it is a race to the bottom so I employ another strategy. I am the last to enter the office

None of these are my concern as a developer. I just want a tool that works. I'd rather take som duct tape and 5 new features I __really want__ than a fancy new tool that'll be the same mess 5 years later and has less features.

Others got it right too! But they were not looking for what's right for the end user, but what's right for the business ($$$).

Why do we need yet another tool? Why can't we just improve the ones we already have?

A better question is why not use Kotlin? It has most of the things Python has and much more (no decorators _yet_ though, but they are on the roadmap).

> Also, it turns out that engineering teams know better how to develop a piece of software than architects. That's not a surprise because of the prerequisite of being a good developer is to...well, write code.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I'm using React + Next.js so I'm pretty happy with Slate, but I'll keep this in my bookmarks.

This doesn't answer my question: how does the model differ? Does tiptap use a similar "can write an editor for anything since everything is abstract" concept?

How does this relate to [Slate.js][0]? Why would I use this over Slate? The most important part is the data model. Slate gives you the ability to edit not only HTML but anything you can come up with. How does tiptap relate to this? [0]: htt

You forgot to mention transfer costs. It is only free within Amazon's VPC. You even pay for transfer between AWS regions (and transfer to CloudFront).

Coinbase is not for crypto people. It is for people who only care about hodling some crypto for profit and want an easy on-ramp. It is not for traders either as it is incredibly expensive to deposit and trade. I'd take Binance over Coi
