This year I ramped up my home projects. I always wanted to create my own game universe with simulated entities (just like in Dwarf Fortress) so my first step towards that is an ASCII/Tile engine, Zircon ( https://github.com&#

What is the problem with Tether? Do you refer to USDT?

This is just FUD. As others have stated I can cash out any time I want. I have USDT, localbitcoins.com and BTC ATMs at my disposal.

It is not about stupidity, more like the blub paradox. If you only know C and Go you have no idea why for example Kotlin would be better for the majority of the cases because to see it you have to use it.

If you look for an oop or fp language you are also out of luck. You are only happy if you look for a better C which most people aren't.

I see no facts or genuine refutation in this article, just opinions. Therefore I can only assume that truth hurts because the article you are trying to argue with has a bunch of valid points. If you look at the history of Go you have to rea

I think it us the other way around. Scala code tends to become an untangleable mess over time while Kotlin stays simple since the language is simple.

No he was not right. You can write two-way interop and it is not hard. I have actually written a library which does it. He did not say that "the two-way interop is not seamless". He said that you "can't write two way

This does not mean that it is a one-way interop. When you write it the right way, it will work from Java.

Now that is true. You also can't use reified generics (which is a bit hacky anyway).

No no no no. Kotlin provides a lot of tools to make your library usable from Java and it works.

You are surprised because it is not true. I can prove that you can write two-way interop just check the library I've written and posted above.

This is definitely NOT TRUE . I've written a library which is used from both Java and Scala and it just works. Here: https://github.com/Hexworks/zircon Just because you didn't manage to get it work

I write Kotlin for more than a year and semicolon usage is pretty consistent: no semicolons. The only place I remember using them is in enum constants. I also came from the lisp world (CL -> Clojure).

I agree with the part that you should write tests, but I definitely disagree with the part that most of your tests should be integration tests. As you pointed out the testing pyramid suggests that you should write more unit tests. Why? Beca
