CadQuery is awesome. When I was designing my keyboard[1] the original version was a huge mess of OpenSCAD. Transitioning to CadQuery simplified the code a lot and let me produce the STEP files CNC machines need instead of the rendered STLs

No way this shed can be moved. It’s built with drywall screws and 24” centers. If you kick a wall it’s likely to flat pack itself.

Whitewashing history to save the economy is certainly an interesting take. Let's be clear: the reason the Chinese government wants to forget and move on from Tiananmen Square is because it threatens their power. The scariest thing for

VW has invested $2 billion in Electrify America [1]. With every manufacturer accelerating their EV rollouts, there will soon be more CCS EVSEs than superchargers. This move isn't about giving non-Teslas access to superchargers, it&#x27

If Dr. Biden wants to be called Professor then yes we should. But she’s made it clear she wants to be addressed as Doctor, a title she is entitled to, so what value is there in not respecting her wishes?

Why should we laugh at Dr. Biden? She has the terminal degree in her field, only it happens to to not be a PhD. She is a professor. Should we also laugh at folks who graduate from MIT’s doctoral programs and want to be addressed as “Doctor”

CNN launched in 1980. The Gulf war was in 1990. Larry King Live premiered on CNN in 1985. CNN has long been a mix of news and opinion, like all news media ever. That’s why media exists: to push facts and interpretations of those facts. Me

Don’t parrot popular false narratives. CNN still has news today, though generally only on breaking news type situations. It turns out the Internet is better for headlines then a thirty-minute talking head loop. And when on CNN Larry King wa

Truly innovative, outside the box, hacker thinking. If Uber and Lyft can violate labor laws, why shouldn’t everyone? I can’t wait for the next innovation. Maybe Big Tech will give people free room and board (and no pay) in exchange for mult

You quote a 0.35% death rate. Google says there are 328.2 million Americans. Do the math. It's amusing for someone arguing "science" to be unable to multiple two fucking numbers. You are saying 1,148,700 deaths is okay, that

While technically that works the resulting STEP files aren’t anymore useful than an STL. You can’t send them to a CNC machine.

This bit me when I was building a custom keyboard. I really love OpenSCAD but these mesh-based tools can produce files usable by CNC machines. I eventually found CadQuery ( https://github.com/CadQuery/cadquery ) which ca
