Thanks so much for this bit of knowledge, I was not aware this was the grammatically accepted means of doing this. I always tried to reformulate sentences to avoid nested "expressions" due to the confusing nesting of parenthesis.

If I don't pay for food, I die. If I don't pay for medicines, I die. Does this then imply I don't have a right to live, because "rights cannot be denied based on the ability to pay"? That I don't have a right to property, because if I don't

Of course, that's a perfectly valid path if you don't mind bears roaming free and unhindered, biting whoever they desire. However, it's fair to say some people would prefer vicious grizzlies be confined to areas that are safe for them and t

I suppose this adds another bullet point to Philip Greenspun's use of "King" instead of "President" when referring to the sovereign head of the USA. http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/philg/2009/10/28/is-it-fair-to-...

I'm pretty sure that after the government has been violently overthrown there's really not much validity to what that government considered to be legal. At any rate, the right to bear arms is associated with the concept of defending yoursel

There are also other reasons for going to war that go beyond personal gain, that have to do with the context of the time: * A desire to focus people's ire and attention at a specific target * The unity of purpose that creating such a target

I guess I didn't do a good job of expression my thought. I completely agree on your point, and I wasn't try to endorse or espouse a lack of government. I suppose I could have stated it better by saying that the regulation that's in place is

Honestly curious here, why is stevia excluded from the list in the article? It would seem to fall under the same process and cause equal amount of harm? Or is it the naturalistic fallacy at work?

Take it a step further: if there weren't any government intervention, then they wouldn't have to pay any lobbyists. The companies wouldn't even need any laws enacted. They would - as the phrase implies - do whatever they wanted. The lobbyin
