This comment makes a lot of assumptions; the primary one being you are able to completely build your infrastructure from scratch. Which just isn't the case for the majority of companies or web sites out there.

Some portion of people who choose to install a browser extension being traceable is worlds different from the government mandating that ISPs track all internet activity of all U.K. citizens. That distinction should be plainly obvious.

The issue is false advertising. It doesn't matter if it works the same (according to whatever tests that are testing for whatever criteria that I might not share) if it's not what you were advertising and what I bought. Allowing c

Good. Twitter, Reddit and other sites have a delusion that they have to allow hate on their sites in the name of free speech. That is false. These sites are not the only means of expression. Storm front has existed longer than those sites.

This headline is terrible. It's phrasing it as if the FCC has a choice. It doesn't. It works at the behest of the government which has changed due to the election. It sucks but if you don't like it and you didn't vote Cl

Manuals are better for fuel economy because they are more efficient. A torque converter loses more power as part of its design, it is unavoidable. Manual transmissions are also typically lighter which also results in an efficiency gain. If

I doubt it is either, but how is Snopes remotely in a position to make this call? Snopes is a site for researching urban myths not for making complicated sociopolitical analysis.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 2012 rMBP and I am sticking with it instead of getting one of these new machines. They bring nothing to the table I care about. They have optimized for thinness and lightness where those should be nice bo

I played MtG seriously in the late 90s and early 2000s and the idea that it's more sophisticated than it's ever been just isn't true. I have gone back and checked it out every few years since I stopped playing seriously and t

Usually people are talking about 200 miles+ for "long range EV". The 2016 Leaf has a 120+ mile range.

The Bolt will be available nationwide before the Model 3 is delivered to a single customer. The main problem GM has is that Tesla has built a proprietary charging network that the Bolt doesn't have. So even with 230 miles of range you

This article contains a basic factual error. It mentions the BMW i3 as a long range EV. It's not long range in pure EV form, it's no longer than the Leaf. It only gets longer range when you add the REx which is a small combustion

I think Apple has definitely over-optimized the MacBook Pro for thinness and lightness. Those are both nice qualities for a Pro product but they should not be weighted so heavily that they give up important features like MagSafe and limit h

You absolutely can only have 4-8 apps on your iPhones home screen. You can move them all off to another page. You could move them to the fourth or fifth or whatever page if you don't want them on the second page.
