How is the postgres ecosystem at stating when these kinds of things are ready for adoption? I can think of a usecase at work where this might be useful, but hesitant to just start throwing random opensource extensions at our monolith DB.

Love UV! Also love Ruff from the Astral team. We just cut our linting + formatting across from pylint + Black to Ruff. Saw lint times drop from 90 seconds to < 1.5 seconds. crazy stuff.

Love tilt, have found it much more difficult to set up in a docker-compose environment than a cloud native / minikube context

Nick Lane covers this a little in the third chapter of his book Life Ascending: The Ten Great Inventions of Evolution. It might not be talking about the specific process OP was talking about but rather the Z Scheme of Photosynthesis

Bit of a noob question here. What's an archiver for? Is it a library for things you've watched and want to store outside of youtube? Or is this for storing content you've created / managing your own portfolio of content?
