Is giving away that much of your privacy really worth $20/year? That's 0.02% of a regular software development salary. Two hours of work at minimum wage.

DXVK is not intended to be merged into wine. It's written in c++, and prioritizes usability over accuracy.

I highly recommend looking for a bowl-shaped keyboard as the second priority after split. Kinesis advantage is popular, and similarly priced to the keyboard.io. There are also maltrons, if you're willing to shell out a little extra

Agreed. SDL2 is one of the few libraries I've used that I can honestly say is well-designed.

That is not a limitation on jailbroken devices. E.G. I use ssh to run a SOCKS proxy; I just run it in the terminal and it runs forever.

What's changed since the last time this was posted: APL is now generally free. J[1] is GPL. The newest version of k is closed-source, but still freely available for personal use from shakti[2], and there is also an independent AGPL i

I'm a 'small guy'. Only person working on my game engine. Would love to add vulkan support, except my GPU is fried.

TBH, opengl has been improving in that respect. See, e.g., glTextureSubImage2D[1], which takes a pointer to the referred texture, unlike glTexSubImage2D. 1: https://www.khronos.org/registry/OpenGL-Refpages/gl4

Absolutely, it could be that we are living in a simulation. It's just that there's no reason to believe that as yet. FWIW I think that a 'biological interpreter' is rather unlikely; it's probably just emergence fr

It's a horrible abuse of probability, which is not unlike saying that 0*∞ = 100%. Not to say that we can't possibly be living in a simulation, but rather that the only way that can be shown, or even evidenced, is through concrete

Easy: for n-byte output, separate input into n equally-sized chunks (pad with zeroes if not enough). For each chunk, XOR all the bytes together.

FWIW I think that simulation theory is fairly obviously bunk, but that's not really an argument. We have no frame of reference for the nature of the simulator, including its constraints and the level of detail it can manage.

May I recommend d's scheme? I personally find it works quite well. Essentially, breaking features are introduced as a 'preview' that you have to opt into with a compiler flag. After a period of some time, it is changed so

You also have a lot of control over when the GC runs. You can manually disable it and run collection cycles, and it only runs when you allocate. You can also mark a section as @nogc to ensure there's no GC usage.
