For sure. I guess the new definition is "somebody can technically purchase for this price, even if it is 1 out of a million, and requires a blood sacrifice". I am not a marketer, but I assume that is the definition they are using.

It isn't abstract art if it is generated from a deep net. The emotion and intentional abstraction of imagery no longer exists. However, a deep net can absolutely generate more literal artworks, such as portraits, scenery, etc..

I generally think this is a good way to openly share advanced research results and engineered technologies with the goal of implementation in mind. It makes some very cool technologies and information available and actionable to more people
