You know after reading the comments on here I was expecting something really horrific. It was pretty short and not all that ludicrous when the time period is taken into account.

I'm really confused. This link just takes me to a broken splash page with Trello marketing text that overlaps and cut off pictures? Might want to check that out if any of the authors are out there. HTC EVO 4g BTW.

The first thing I thought was also 'What language can I script in?' After a few clicks I just closed the tab. Should definitely be more visible.

I'd have to agree, AP classes saved me around $4000. Yeah, they're not as rigorous Aw real college courses, but it's a great way to get some gen eds that you didn't particularly care about out of the way.

This awesome, I remember being really frustrated when I started out at my Rails internship because there wasn't any comprehensive documentation for HTML stuff like I was used to with Java, C++, etc.

Oh, of course. The dance between defense and offense will continue as usual. However, there may be a window of time where a lot of services are left vulnerable in the transition.

Definitely. I'd imagine it wouldn't very hard to find even a paid internship if she puts the legwork in.

A lot of public key cryptography methods used in the real world are based on the fact that factoring really big numbers is computationally unfeasible. Shor's algorithm makes it feasible, but it's a quantum algorithm that can't be run on a

Stop reading after the second paragraph, quantum computing isn't some magic wand you wave at problems to make them disappear. It's simply a new way of approaching them, and it requires algorithms designed to take advantage of this new appr

Who says everything has to be suitable for group development or long term maintainability? What's wrong with just coding for the sake of expressing oneself? I love these kind of things precisely because of this. Programming is an art, and I

Great job, felt like a really polished pitch. Loved the video. I wonder if the would kids ever get weary of seeing the same images in their parents' replies?

Bandcamp is a fantastic service that doesn't get nearly enough mention in these kinds of conversations. They've really already perfected this direct to fan model. They've even implemented a merch store into the service, allowing you to do a

I've only heard terrible things from other people about BlackBerry dev. Specifically, that there were numerous issues porting. Does anyone have any experience to the contrary? What is the BlackBerry user base like at this point anyway?

Yeah, I can appreciate the spirit of it, but I think the "not featured on" could be a little more prominent. Heck, I think it might even add to the joke a bit because some people would still end up just scanning and say "Oh wow, TechCrunch

A music selling platform sounds like a pretty good idea for this I'd say. It could be a one stop shop for searching for music, interacting with artists, and buying music. Might be interesting. Take some notes from Myspace Music, Bandcamp
