But you can also use a fast language with no framework, but host it on a 5€/mo VM and put it behind CF and it will run half decent.

Excuse the harsh question, but how many people using this have actually died yet? As far as we know, you could just collect money and never trigger anything. It's also very hard to collect reviews for this service. I love the idea and

Sadly where I work I split my time very similarly and I thought it was a sign of a dysfunctional organization and a sign that I should leave. It's been my only professional software job, so I thought it's likely going to be better

I think the root cause of cat abuse is that grep just takes the parameters the wrong way around. It happens much more often that I want to tweak the pattern and I know which file(s) to grep than the other way around.

Maybe not. The German population is aging rapidly, our retirement model (young people pay for old people) is unsustainable and obviously unfeasible by the time I get to retire (in about 35 years), because there are too few young people to p

I have used select and poll before and sort of skipped to io_uring for a recent project, which also doesn't do too well with multiple threads (you have to use multiple rings and do everything else yourself). It's a shame that ther

When people use "C/C++" as a single language I usually know right away don't know much about C++. The distance between C and modern idiomatic C++ is many times larger than the distance between C++ and Rust. C++ looks lik

I fully agree with your point, but I think the example is a bit aggressive towards OP. I'm sure you got a good chuckle of out of this, but I think it would have been better to give an example that did not seem like an attack. For examp
