In these comments people have suggested to check for the User-Agent, but wouldn't it make more sense to check if the Accept header mentions text/html? I realize that curl sends "Accept: / ", but if you wanted to se

I just do NOT feel like using a language, that has explicitly stated, that you should not start a new project with it. Very few legacy projects will consider using Carbon, I would assume (If you have worked on one, you probably know that &q

I thought about this in the past and I think a reasonable expectation is for this to go to court some day and drive it all the way up to the respective supreme court and make a significant change in copyright law. It's practically the

Everyone that feels like it is outrageous to believe this is evil and there is likely a super reasonable explanation for this should consider that this is not a novel thing. At Netflix and Amazon Prime limit the resolution on Linux to 1080p

Sadly VSync is not all upside and it increases input latency significantly, so it might be a deal breaker depending on what you play or just the person playing. Despite their age GSync and FreeSync are not that ubiquitous yet. I agree that

Features and containers have been deprecated before. Could it be an option to deprecate only the complexity requirements on some of the operations on std::unordered_map, so that we don't need a whole new container and standard library

I really wish that not every submission about anything C++ related would devolve into a full-on discussion about Rust. It keeps happening everywhere. Why do people have such problems with someone else using C++ for whatever they are buildin

Everyone in these comments mentions C and C++ as a single word, which frankly has nothing to do with reality. C++ is a FAR safer language than C, if you wish to use it properly (which many don't). I write C++ full time at work and I al
