They said that they aren't only focused on money now, and that they care more about doing things they enjoy, pretty much the opposite of "my only interest is money". You should read the comment again, since it looks like you

The "nomad" posts always bugged me, especially when it's someone traveling around the world by working odd jobs and relying on the kindness of strangers. They're always presented in a way to make you feel bad about havin

You could kill from much further away. Car bombs require you to be very close to ensure a kill, unless you've got something like a dump truck or cement mixer filled with explosives.

The "downloader" mentioned in that forum was a separate piece of software for managing downloads, like a janky proto-steam. To download the offline installers, you just need to go to the games section of your account on their webs

I keep it disabled just so sites load faster. Except for 1 or 2 sites, I don't care about anything except for the main text on a page, so it's a waste of time to let a ton of javascript run and load/format things that I don&#

I don't know the full details behind it, but they're working on changes to the type system in GDScript. IIRC they said the biggest issue they hear about with the current system are that it's optional, which means that the com

I was suprised seeing how mainstream the denial of it is on reddit. Back before I stopped looking at the front page a few years ago, it was pretty common to see college-aged communists claiming that it was either western propoganda meant to

Yeah, the amount of people saying "fuck your freedom" when blanket lockdowns with no end date were announced at the start of the pandemic was disturbing. As much as they complain about the PATRIOT act and government overreach, you

They do bans in waves to try and keep people from knowing what cheat/hack they used that got them banned. VAC might not have caught you, or you might get banned in one of the waves where they ban thousands of people all at once.

Doesn't suprise me. I was watching a video where they had devs watch a speedrun for HL:2, and they said that there are a ton of hacky fixes that never got properly fixed. They said that same code is now in HL:Alyx, and that it's f

They're on Source 2 now, but not all of their games have been ported to it. A former employee said that Source 2 is pretty much just Source 1 with some extra phsyics bolted on, not a completely new engine.
