I haven't tried this yet, but it's on my list of things to do. Jailbreak your Iphone, and get NodeJS working on it: https://tootallnate.net/nodejs-on-ios That device could then become the host for both browsers, the local Safari, and any

Fixing the economy will require more than entrepreneurs. I think it will ultimately require major socio-economic reform, possibly a conversion to Technocracy. Technology isn't just eliminating jobs, it's eliminating trade altogether. I ca

I think the bigger problem is Objective-C isn't a desirable programming language to begin with, and therefore another language based on it is even less desirable.

At this price, countries should just purchase a test for everyone, and eradicate HIV.

Google almost certainly does not intend to suddenly start charging for Android once iOS and Windows7 are out of the picture. More likely their intention is to keep it free, but with additional "conditions" such as Google search being the on

Considering a used iPad can be bought for about the same as a Chromebook, I can't think of a single reason why you would choose a Chromebook.

The original Xbox was the best product Microsoft ever made. Hacked with modchip, XBMC, and emulators, the Xbox was basically my dream entertainment system come true. The authentic Xbox games were just a bonus. 8 years later my modchip st

You've misconstrued "improving someone's life" to being "meaningful work". Maybe a banker thinks his career is meaningful, but bankers do not improve people's lives. The people who built the house you're buying are the ones who improve yo

I think it's safe to say at this point that most "techy" people have moved to Macbooks - by "most" I mean over 50%. And if you happen to browse tech sites there's a good chance a majority of them are using OSX now.
