The value of an unvested RSU is a very tricky thing. I had to try to value my potential RSU benefits when I got divorced. It's not the same as a stock option where even if you leave, you have an asset that you can still purchase at the

The makers have a new game called Contraption Maker, which I have yet to download, as I feared it will consume me like TIM series did when I was growing up. These are some of my favorite games of all time.

Good luck actually getting that pre-nup enforced in court! Just don't get married, unless you are ready to lose it all if it goes south.

Do you not trust your child to not wander away if you said something like, "Yes, go play, but be careful, and remember not to go past the tree (or whatever)"? Do you let your son ride in cars? That seems way more dangerous than le

If you have Amazon Prime, they offer a channel called The Great Courses that I believe still has a free trial. It has lots of high quality lectures on a wide range of topics.

I joined Metafilter in 2002, and although I no longer use it as my main source of content discovery, I do love to go back now and again. It's always been a top notch community, and if you haven't ever spent some time on the site,
