Think of it this way. Say someone was trying to get and use as much GPS data they could find to map the world's trails. Each source and format might require a different algorithm to "curate" it into a usable form for your data structures,

I agree, using it on the internet I kept clicking on the "screen" instead of using the buttons. Though, I do find myself occasionally futilely poking at ATM and gas-station screens that were made years before touch-screens became common.

I can think of 2 reasons for this. One, like you said, people don't seem as quick to post the "first thing that comes to my mind" sort of comment, which tend to be fairly shallow, or pun or meme-based. Also, it doesn't take much for a stor

Check out LEGO Mindstorms, it's basically LEGO with motors that you program. I think something physical attached to the (abstract) programs would be a great way to start. It's recommended for ages 10+, but I'm sure a bright kid with an adu

gmail just uses tags instead of folders. That way a single message can be in multiple folders at once. You can still do anything you could do if they were called 'folders' instead.

Driving a car, voting, and signing a lease are all much much simpler to do than understanding a non-compete agreement. And actually I think the line of "most" people falls somewhere in the middle.
