Apple's TOS specifically states they should only be used for development of Watch apps. Distributing it on Github & using it for non-development purposes (i.e. as a system font) is probably against the TOS, but not sure Apple will

No, this isn't an option. Writing a blog post about "fixing security problems" will not attract new customers for 99.99% of startups, unless security is a core value prop for your product (Stripe, for example). Your average A

Pointing out the difference between 12.5mph and 15mph is pedantic and doesn't contribute to the discussion.

If you're building iOS apps, you have no excuse to not test betas frequently. iOS8 integrates with TestFlight, so even nontechnical users can easily try your beta apps. It takes seconds to send out beta releases to testers and there i

You should blog about your tech stack and how you're accomplishing live streaming. APRS isn't sufficient for video, so do you have a satellite uplink?

I quite like the work you've done here! Most computers in a school are ill-equipped for programming needs. I'm a bit concerned that this laptop is designed with an experienced programmer in mind. I don't think the *nix Termin

Very cool. From a pure website UX perspective, I'd recommend making it more obvious what the differences are between each price tier. Took me a moment to realize what the difference between Complete and Complete Plus were. This will

I can't tell if you're being facetious, but a Bitcoin URI is not readable, shareable, or memorable, making it harder to use Bitcoin itself. A username, just like a URL, provides that. Not to mention, everyone can't run their

I'd love to learn more about the tech stack. Any blog posts I can refer to? How come you decided not to use Docker for something like this? Seems perfectly suited.

I sincerely hope these folks get customers & funding to pursue this as it will only help grow the nascent industry. I'm perplexed by the economics, however. A Falcon 9 v1.1 can do 13K kilos to LEO for $56MM. A Firefly Alpha can do

Right, but my point is that if a drone is flying over an area like the Golden Gate Bridge, you're really not going to pick up any audio aside from wind noise. You'd have to be in close proximity to some sound producing subject.

Genuinely curious, let's assume this technology is created. What would audio signals would you even record? Most drones are far from any subject (sound-producing or not). What are use cases where the drone is close to a sound source? T

I wish the developers took this a bit further and visualized the AI decision making and object tracking. Perhaps even visualize some of the WebRTC communications (a la WebRTC internals) to explain how things are working, visually.

I imagine fully automated shipping docks are just a decade or two away. Driveless cranes – like Amazon's Kiva warehouse robots – could do much of the work more safely & efficiently than humans could.
