Do we actually need text editing support all conceivable edge cases? I guess I don't care how the cursor behaves as long as it's mostly predictable and consistent. Users would adapt, I must not use or care about skinned emojis muc

The Long Road to War, a recent documentary about ww1 opened my eyes regarding geopolitics. The gist is that conflict was bound to happen, the spark that started was just the first domino to fall to set everything in motion. The way the lea

Thanks, I appreciate this comment on management style. It resonates with my current experience, including the OKRs, goals being conflated with sprint stories, constant focus on adding new features over architectural groundwork and the data

Afaik there is a small photo/video editor called CameraBag which displays adjustments and filters as little boxes laid out in a row and you can enable or disable them. https://nevercenter.com/camerabag

I hate python's syntax, it might be less cluttered but it's a pain to refactor or play around, because a lot of times you have to re-indent everything before it will work again. And then I also tend to find it harder to find the e

A four-way stop would be confusing for me, those don't exist in my country as far as I'm aware. I was also thought that a stop or yield sign means I'm on the side road and the other road implicitly has priority.
