Doesn't work for me. I can't get past "2 arrows at the same time". I press them, and see flame from both side thrusters, but the game doesn't register that I've done 2 arrows, and does not let me play. Mozil

I used to do this to make life in the cube farm at Google tolerable. The advantage of construction/shooting earmuffs is that they also cancel out conversations really well.

When they manually forced it onto the CCD with 3D-Vcache, they saw a 100% speedup: " As we can see in our Factorio benchmark, we saw massive gains of over 100% when forcing the Ryzen 9 7950X3D to use the CCD with the 3D V-Cache as oppo

What's the legality of hacking these things, assuming you own the car? For example, BMW charges $18/mo to turn on heated seats you already own. Am I legally allowed to hack their software to enable heated seats w/o paying? H

According to https://frankrayal.com/2021/07/07/latency-in-leo-satellites-... , GEO has about 20x the latency of LEO. I think this is why starlink is so much more usable than traditional satellite internet.

The only reason QUIC delivers throughput improvements over TCP is because it uses the same congestion control as BBR, so occasional packet loss doesn't kneecap the connection. If you use BBR TCP (or RACK TCP) on FreeBSD, you'll s

I don't understand why an airplane being heavier than what was estimated by the software would cause the tail to drag. I would assume it would cause the plane to not have sufficient thrust to take off, or to use more runway. But havi

QUIC is horribly inefficient on the server side, so there are legitimate reasons to use TLS 1.3 over TCP in high traffic scenarios (like CDN servers).

A lot of the conversions that I've seen use smaller packs, like 60KWh or less. And most of them use used Tesla motors and packs. So perhaps this is where the price comes from ... the fact that the pack & motor are used. But $14k
