Love TextMate. It was my first editor. But has anybody else noticed a slowdown in startup time? It feels like it takes longer to open then VSCode, which is surprising for a native application.

If the information is supposed to be private wouldn't you want to use token based auth or something similar? I wouldn't feel comfortable exposing information publicly even if it was behind a UUID.

Thanks for the advice! I'll look into that. I have not spent much time in assembly land so it should be an interesting lesson.

I've run into a similar issue writing a ray tracer in Swift! We are even both using Peter Shirley's "Ray Tracing in One Weekend" as a reference! I'm to this day struggling to get the performance near the level of th

Neat! I've got a similar library, Cliffy[1], also written in Typescript. But it's designed to be run interactively in-proccess. https://github.com/drew-y/cliffy

Agreed. Although I do think that memory safe systems languages are seriously low hanging fruit.

I feel like that $3.6 Million in funding go a lot further if spent on projects like the Rust Language.

Looks great! One thing that would be nice would be the ability for Raneto to act as a static Docs generator. Looks like you have to use nodejs as the server as it stands. I'd like to be able to use a simple static http-server.

JS won't be entirely obsolete. You won't be able to access the DOM from WebAssembly. It will be way easier to make way more performant web apps though.

I'd much prefer wayland over Mir. I know they're already set in their ways but wayland on fedora 25 works beautifully and has a way more reasonable license. It'd also be nice to have Ubuntu's support in continuing waylan
