The 1996 Mazda Miata. Super simple, reliable and fun to drive.
- SwellJoe 10y agoFirst gen Miata was even simpler, and similarly fun to drive, though not quite as fast or comfortable as what came later. It had a certain charm that I still like a lot whenever I see a well-maintained one driving around.
- patrickk 10y agoMany Japanese cars from the 90s-early 2000s fit the bill. Civic, Skyline, Supras, MR2, RX7, S2000, Subaru WRX, Lancer Evos, many many more. - c0nducktr 10y agoYeah my first car was a 1990 Miata, which I ended up selling, and then later after regretting selling the first one, bought a '97. I haven't driven another car I like more than the NA series Miata.
