Oh man this is so true. Here's what you can do with drones by using opencv and the opencv_contrib extra modules along with a usb radio transmitter and web camera for tracking position with a bit of matrix math. OpenCV is an amazing l

That's incorrect. A similarly equipped T470 is maybe ~$300 less but you miss out on the discrete gfx card and the keyboard. I think you're looking at the base price and forgetting the three year warranty that comes with this. I&

This was an unnecessary change no matter how you slice it. Just look at the other options: bluetooth or an adapter. With bluetooth you have to pair it and remember to charge the headphones. With an adapter you have to remember to bring i

It won't. This is just a saying to cover their ass from political action. I say this as a robot enthusiast.

Yep. I feel like it's time to manually make a list of egregious submarine launchers, though it seems that it's journalists who's coverage is over a limited set of companies such as social media that are prone to doing things

Is it not possible to make a browser extension or app to "wrap" youtube and turn it into a soundcloud like service? Seems to me they could transition a lot of their users over to it and possibly save money.

How much of this is actually illegal? In workplaces you have legal recourse but in this situation it doesn't seem like there's anything you can do except blast their name out there for everyone to see.

Was this advertised a few days ago somewhere else? It would've been nice to know about it ahead of time.

There's also openlistings. I don't like their search function as much as Zillow's but you can still find a decent selection in some markets.

This is too broad of a question. A tiring relationship is different from a dead end job which is different from eating the same sandwich at the same bar every Thursday. If you want advice to broadly apply to any situation then the best I c

I wonder about this. Can't you just lock down the app to the point where you don't have to worry about it phoning home or accessing certain information? Or is it just ideology that's stopping you?

I feel no shame suggesting that you get the Pleco app. It is the best Character/Kanji dictionary that exists today. You can also draw them to look them up + tons of other stuff.

I wonder if this is loyalty or fear of stock devaluation. I hope it's the former, that kind of thing is beautiful to see in employees.

So this is why every once in a while we see some article about Julia being as easy to use as Python while having nearly the performance of C. That's some very slick but sketchy marketing tactics. I'd rather deal with Cython apach

It feels like the answer to both your question and mine is to do more problems. I have no issues with backtracking but your complaint mirrors my own with respect to dynamic programming. Back to leetcode I guess.
