You are conflating a mathematical model with reality, begging the question as it were.

Absolutely. There's no reason to believe space is Euclidean, in fact, relativity says it is curved. Quantum mechanics says that it is not infinitely divisible.

I assume you mean in the physical sense? What if you get down to the quantum level? You don't have a straight line in the Euclidean sense any longer.

Just FYI, but depending on your situation, you do not need to pay for homeowner's insurance (or real estate taxes) via escrow. You can handle it all yourself so you'll only have yourself to blame if the payments get screwed up.

A printout of a one-file spaghetti code with gotos is the only case where I can imagine that trope of the wall of connected strings actually being a useful tool.

FYI, the 1040EZ form no longer exists. It was eliminated in the name of simplifying the forms (don't ask me how that's supposed to work).

FYI, in the US, depending on the jurisdiction, some items are exempt from sales tax. E.g. necessities like food and clothing. In my jurisdiction, clothing is taxed by the county but not by the state. Which is a long way of saying that eve

IMHO, a worse practice is when you are happily typing along and the system throws up a dialog randomly, grabbing the focus and thereby "pressing" one of the buttons when you thought you were typing. Who knows what you just agreed

Not all of your passwords will be in memory. I don't know how you read a password from "webpages". Session tokens do not exist for websites you are not currently accessing. The password file will contain all the saved passw

You seem to be ignoring the possibility that the server behind the online storage is hacked and some files downloaded for offline cracking. When it comes down to it, everything is in a file somewhere.

Genuine question - why do you block people who are you to lists? I'm a relatively new Twitter user and I've been making heavy use of the list functionality. So what's the down side?

Seems like a good place to mention that I bought a Klein bottle hat from Cliff for my (mathematically inclined) wife for Christmas and she loved it. Also there is more to it than just the item, the packaging and other extras really put it

In my experience, people want smart TVs for streaming, not for watching live TV. The value proposition for the non technical person is that all the streaming apps are available right in the TV and easy to use.

I think that rm in particular is usually a shell built-in, not a separate executable, so it does have access to the exact arguments. But your larger point still stands.
