The extent of the 2FA issue I saw - which, by the way, was w.r.t. sms-based 2fa login, not other 2fa methods - was a single screenshot making this claim. Was there more I missed?

Wow, that's quite the downsizing! Evernote at one point occupied all 5 floors of that building and their new HQ looks like a single level over retail shops. I guess it makes sense with the move to remote work.

I used to work for a company that rented a portion of Evernote's HQ, in Redwood City. Nice office and location. Evernote eventually recovered and kicked us out. Just my personal piece of nostalgia.

Just how wide do you want "widely" to be? Are you trying to say we don't learn anything about this subject from clinical trials? I'm sure data related to the many clinical trials I mentioned is available.

Sure there was and still is uncertainty, but we need to talk about the other side of that coin. You used the term novel, which means: "new and not resembling something formerly known or used" and that's just not the case here

I run email servers and one of the pulses I've been keeping an eye on over the last 2 and a half years is recruiter mail, both real and spam. I did notice early to mid 2020 the volume of this type of mail was reduced to almost nothing.

Yes, I did exactly this and for the same reasons. I left web development in 2015 when the tooling was starting to get a bit silly. I had an opportunity to move into devops and system administration at the same company and team so I took it.
