It looks like, from the game library, you can be as unique as you allow your imagination to allow. If you just jump in and tweak one of their tutorials, you won't get far, but if you take your time, design great graphics, write a fun story,

Creativity is expressed in many forms, and if it were not for computers, my creative talents would never have been realized. I develop video games from the ground up, and these games wouldn't have come to life if not for computers. To answ

The free version is VERY limited however. So, going from 10% of a game to 100% would hopefully sway the reviews my way even with ads, but still - hard to say. I could start slow, with just ads on the home screen, then maybe put them throug

I'd love to know how many active installs there are of those 7M downloads. I must have downloaded it 3 times to my devices and it didn't successfully run on any of them. We have an app with over 1.2M downloads and around 500k active instal

Agreed. The poster is speaking for himself: "This is obviously not an optimal development practice - customers paying monthly are starved for new features during these dormant periods" Personally, I love that they are just leaving sh__ alo

I'm having the exact same experience with the $150 Android Tablet from KMart - the Augen. Wireless works, but the touch screen is really hard to use, and the battery dies fast, even when off, so every time I turn it on I have to plug it in

Android is a like a whole new ball game when it comes to fragmentation. You can't rely on the same kind of touch screens, or a keyboard being present, or a trackball, or the speed being same, or an SD card existing, and the screen sizes all

That's an interesting tip about what turns programmers off. I've been operating under a similar motto, if it's hard to do, keep doing it. My best apps in the Market do some stuff that takes a lot of work and talent to complete, and those a

Maybe new accounts can submit RMS posts if established users "second" and "third" the submission, validating it. I do think new users with real startups can really benefit from the community, and there should still be a way to submit them b

I won't argue with you there. I've blown my $$ on mobile ads already and don't intend to do it again. Ads need captchas. If an ad is clicked, it should popup a message that says, what's 2+2 or something. If I answer that, then I'm throug

When I let my kids play this game I usually hear a "Daaaaad" after two minutes because they are in the App Store after clicking the ad on accident and don't know what to do. Same happens on the Fart apps. I have a feeling that if you have a

I commented on the article too - but, could this just be a customer retention ploy? I no longer want to cancel anything because if I need to come back and re-activate my projects, well, it looks like it may cost me double.

I'd consider that "featured" because you touch the little "featured" spotlight icon in the bottom of the App Store to get to these apps. I probably buy a game from these sections every week, or 2 weeks, but I almost never scour the store fo

In my opinion, SquareSpace (and others) is missing the boat by not having a white-label system for web developers to resell their services invisibly. People pay web devs because they don't want to take the TIME to learn it and do it themsel
