I agree in principle, but my question to you, is how do we make something economic i.e. CO2 pollution, which in principle provides no value? The same goes for fossil fuel consumption. There's nothing economic about not using fossil fue

You're forgetting a key factor though: politics. What you're arguing is a rational idea of economics that doesn't exist. Instead, we have this bastard version influenced by politics, which in practice, cares nothing of the ke

How on earth could you possibly make an economic argument on the future viability of our species on this planet? It's because of economics we're in this mess in the first place.

lol I just made it up. But a lot of this knowledge is based on a book called The Happiness Trap which describes all these interactions in much greater detail and by an actual mental health professional. My post is kind of a shitty abridged

I don't have a bath, so can't test that theory. But trust me when I say I have more-or-less tried everything as far as I'm aware. Cold showers. Hot showers. Magnesium etc.

No worries. When I first read about it from someone else sharing the exact same experience I had, it completely changed my life. So it's only fair I share my knowledge and pass it on so others can hopefully get the relief they need.

Fair enough. Like I say, take it with a grain of salt. Certainly, I'm no expert on pain, only what I personally went through with RSI. While my understanding/explanation might be wrong the result was undeniable: I had terrible RSI

Possibly, but I'm sure others have experienced something similar, given I learnt about this from another coder posting the same experience.

This has just been my experience with RSI (now recovered), so please take it with a grain of salt. I used to have debilitating RSI when typing. I tried everything and it just got worse over time. Stretches. Typing a certain way. Taking brea

The thing that was a huge let down was the fact that 95% of planets were just barren and procedural generated with the same outposts and the same layouts. It provided no incentive to explore, because there simply wasn't anything unique

The fact that you can't scrap items like you could in Fallout 4 makes no sense to me. It just makes so many items useless.

Although Starfield has more issues than one could possibly describe, it's the most fun I've had with a game this year. The gameplay loop is fun and the combat is incredible.

One perspective I've been thinking about lately is how the rise of Crypto has been hugely beneficial for AI, in the same way that the dot-com bubble was hugely beneficial for the internet. Essentially Crypto lead to huge investment int

Which company are you with? Also in Australia, although I don't think fibre is available yet to my address. Did you also have to pay for fibre to be installed?

EVs are still too expensive, at least here in Australia. More-or-less double the cost of an equivalent ICE vehicle i.e. Toyota Corolla. $29,270 vs $61,900.

You kind of went on a rant there. You didn't really explain how ads aren't a form of content. You just expressed how you don't like ads.

hmmmm when you think about, everything is an ad. Put more simply, everything is "content" and all content has an agenda. I guess an ad is just a particular type of content with a particular type of agenda.

Fair enough. I guess ultimately it comes down to what you're used to and what you prefer. I think more than anything, it's difficult to discredit something that you don't actively use and aren't completely familiar with.

I agree that it's a problem. But also, you don't have to upgrade to the latest OS. Most people wait to see if there are any problems before they upgrade. I think this applies to most things in life. Especially programming librarie
