I agree. GNOME 3 stays out of my way. Good dynamic virtual desktop. Windows key (or Alt-F1) to see all open windows. Windows keys + typing to start an app. I don't understand why Tweaks is not part of GNOME vanilla, but it's easy

Valid question, I don't know the exact answer, but keep in mind that a closed cabin with windows will heat up naturally when the sun is up. Humans generate heat which is also trapped in that cabin. Inefficiencies in transmission etc...

I think OP meant that needing AC in a lot of vehicles in the US (everywhere it gets really hot) a 100% electrical fleet didn't make sense, and that this consideration might have influenced the decision to go with ICE. If you are not be

At the end of the day, you need enough energy onboard, and gas is much more dense. Hybrid cars turn the ICE engine on at intersection when AC or heat is on, to convert gas into electricity and avoid depleting the batteries completely.

I went to Ubuntu years ago for the availability of packages. Snaps killed it for me. I moved my daily driver(s) on Fedora a few months after 20.04. It turns out, RPMfusion does have all the packages I want.

Are you prone to headaches? Do other things trigger headaches for you? Beside the headaches, was it usable? Did it require more efforts than working with a classic LCD monitor?

I don't need to walk around with them, my main goal is a better sitting posture, and I'd be fine with a model that has a cable connected to the laptop, in fact, that's how I imagined it in my first thought.

Add: * An option for a good quality trackpoint and 3 buttons * A possibility to order a fully assembled model without an OS And you will quickly get a significant share of buyers from the ThinkPad/Linux crowd.

I had never heard of this, the use of already existing heat is amazing! Do they run 24/7? If not, they must use a lot of energy to cold start the process. One classic example I always hear about efficient use of heat exchanger is the b

In Europe, you can find "good" wine in box, the type of wine you'd pay 25 to 30 CAD per bottle here in Canada. Boxed wine is ideal for that one glass you want with your lunch. I wish we had more variety of it around here.

Correct. I wish a fund were created for Firefox, like the one for Thunderbird. I'd love to give towards Firefox but have no desire to fund Mozilla mismanagement.

This was my exact experience as well. I was an early user if sensible and loved that it was yaml. Then had to deal with jinja inside yaml. And finally a syntax for loops appeared! I have run into the same type of issues with salt.
