Besides the energy costs, what's the answer to PoW miners' effects on the GPU market? Especially as the supply chain is already strained by COVID-related increases in consumer demand. While I'm still concerned by mining energ

A bit OT, but this is my current dilemma. My entire career has been with startups so I effectively value any equity at $0 (none have made an exit). That means all my assets are cash/stock, since I've rented my whole life. Makes me

Honest question: can that happen without users having to purchase ETH (or whatever the underlying token is)? My very limited understanding is that web3 is inherently tied to cryptocurrency and the miners have to be paid somehow.

I've seen this t-shirt around. As a Baltimore native, it sort of irritates me even though it's tongue in cheek! It assumes that Baltimore is a bad/unlikable place that people need to learn to love (or need to convince others

This comment and the one below it, also about China[1], should be higher up. It was very convenient to be in a restaurant and have a digital menu in a standardized format. Of course, it required a number of factors to align: all interaction

I'm surprised there hasn't been much mention (at least for US-based folks) of at-will employment. People are getting fired for old social media posts, but people get fired for all sorts of other stupid reasons: the boss was in a b
