A new tam finds a “huge” overcharge. Most AWS billing is automated - I think a bit more detail would be helpful on this huge overcharge and refund. For new folks maybe run it up to manager early to figure out approach / insure understa

They have by far the longest support historically compared to the rest of the ecosystem. It’s not even close. A while ago my parents bought an android device that SHIPPED one version behind and was never updated. Totally pathetic. I’ve seen

WAN failover is not fun with ipv6 - npt doesn’t solve things because prefix lengths are variable. You end up back with NAT with basic networks again but with ridiculously large address space. Firewall rules a trickier- you need to both let

Somehow people have polluted and/or the assistants are too stupid to play well known songs from voice prompts. You get weird covers with clearly synthesized backing or random crap. It’s honestly weird. The covers shouldn’t even be on s

IPv6 is such a massive headache it’s kind of mind boggling. I used to be super enthused - but it is absolutely less useful and more annoying than it’s worth.

This feels like an ivory tower take. I worked at a job reentry program. The difference in outcomes between those working hard and those not looked pretty stark to me. Ignore the billionaires. Focus on what you can control.

Absolutely not. Tor is chock full of stuff I don’t want to be associated with from spam to worse. Where possible you can block tor traffic, abuse management on tor is pitiful

To connect to a non local data source you need to pay 3,000 for enterprise version once you exceed CE limits plus maintenance- a bit too much - wish they’d put that level a bit less

The iPhones sat capabilities from AAA to emergency rescue have diminished some of the emergency benefits and inReach some others so something like this would be great.
