This undervalues I think what Apple has delivered vs Microsoft and Samsung/android et so. With windows you will be spammed in various tailored experience ways through notifications and search, random apps come pre installed on windows

Having made some major efforts with ipv6 makes you appreciate ipv4 - a few visionaries built something that worked amazingly well. Kind of mind blowing that the experts out there on committees came up w the dumpster fire of ipv6 - the pain

The proof will be in the pudding. The headline does not restrict this to specific models. I’ll be impressed if they actually update old models. If it’s another go forward promise - I’ll be a bit skeptical until they actually deliver for a b

You can cross fill and use separate storage - their new locks already use this - but my understanding (possibly wrong) was old locks may not have been using all possible options - it’s a cost / benefit trade off

One note - they don’t pump water out and back into the locks from a neighboring storage. They flush the water. Each ship needs like 40 million gallons? Maybe title should be insane wastes of water forces authorities…. :)

The other phones cos need to build up better reputations. It’s a slow process I think. No carrier mobile service manager. No bloatware especially hard to uninstall bloat like Facebook on Samsung devices. Better spam control - iMessage blue

They do take backup offers. We got our place that way. We didn’t want to beat the winning bid, but had a no contingency offer. We let them know if first fell through we’d still be interested at our price with a quick close. Someone missed s

There is no chance of unlimited http even - otherwise startups would free ride that for their video sites etc

every / Netflix / porn site etc would use the unlimited free http traffic service if they could. I’d start a YouTube competitor. At some point if you use a lot of bandwidth you will get a call. So unlimited http traffic is a lie.

Yeah, it’s weird. If you understand batteries you understand why they did this. iPhones last longer already and are better supported than many android phones so apple has a history with longevity in their phones

I’m curious why apple didn’t just let folks turn this off if they were so upset. Their phones would have died and apple would get another sale. Make the turn off permanent- once opted out no going back. Off all the “gates” this one seemed a
