I feel like all Amazon is really doing here is reselling the product, and that seems ... fine to me? Buy from the seller, sell to the user. Seems pretty reasonable. You can resell things you buy from shops legally, not just wholesalers.

I am pleased to see how complete this table really is. I recently migrated a tool from Otto to Modernrc's QuickJS transpile of QuickJS to pure Go. Both are represented.

The "Effective Dreamcast Go" docs on this are fantastically well written. I've read much worse docs from major corporations.

I was there like fifteen - twenty years ago before the hyphen standard and shadow dom and all that when JS libraries briefly leaned into just making up their own elements. I think everyone collectively agreed that it was a bad idea and it f

Once a year for a number of years we would have a small total outage as our Ops team forgot to renew our wildcard certificate. Like clockwork. It's been a couple of years now so they must have set better reminders for themselves. I hav

The author brings up the point, but I have always found surprising how much more expensive managed databases are than a comparable VPS. I would expect a little bit more as a cost of the convenience, but in my experience it's generall

Is been 25 years since I took Japanese in highschool but I'm relatively certain that our textbooks had ち romanized as tchi which from my recollection seems more accurate to its actual common pronunciation.

I went almost 20 years without sailing the high seas. It was the death of DVD Netflix that really did it for me. With DVD, Netflix if something I wanted to watch wasn't on any of my streaming services, it was almost guaranteed to be on

I live in Minnesota and do not own a snowblower. Probably my mistake, but I always joke that I get most of my exercise in the winter. Snow is really heavy for those without context. A couple years ago we had a particularly bad snowfall. The

About six months ago Ahrefs recommended I remove some Unicode from the pathing on a personal project. Easy enough. Change the routing, set up permanent redirects for the old paths to the new paths. I used to work for an SEO firm, I have a d
