I modified my blog recently to require users to click a button before disqus is even loaded on the page. I think it gives the best of both worlds.

What is the real downside of that vs replacing android with linux? I could see there being more pro's than cons except for specific use cases.

We need a p2p backup solution. Something like what wuala used to be but open source and distributed. Give up 1TB of local space to get ~750GB offsite, or something like that.

I can't comment on oakmail, but I can tell you how i'm doing it for my project (decentralized mailer/messenger, look for my post on this page). But basically you perform a lookup (X address = Y privatekey). The problem is whe

It would be neat if you could extract the desired data (text) from the page and hash it so that you could later fix the link (by pointing to a new valid link).

Elliptical curve asymmetrical keys for the actual encryption. No encryption by proxy by default. Basically think of a shared database where you don't know who inserts data or who selects data. Making all payloads the same size, and con

Kind of, but more anonymous and not tied to tor. More like Bitmessage ( https://bitmessage.org ) but with a fresh approach. You can connect via tor (tor-tor) and talk to people on i2p, or clearnet, sneakernet, etc.

Came here to say this. You could just publish to the general chan. However, bitmessage is no good for distributing data. It would be good for distributing how to get that data (torrent magnet, mega.nz link, encryption key, etc).
