I was the same, really pissed off when they made the change. Luckily, it's android, so you can install a custom launcher. I remember I had to play around with adb a bit, but after that, it's smooth sailing. I use FLauncher[0], but

Kubernetes doesn't answer any of the parents questions though, does it? You still need a Dockerfile for k8s and all those questions still apply.

Helix doesn't have tabs or folding, I find it really hard to use an editor without those features. The preconfigured LSP stuff is nice, but after you set it up in vim you usually don't have to mess with it unless you want too.

I mean, Arch has 4.4.1-12 in their repo right now [0]. I don't really get the argument, why is it the software developers fault that distros have old packages? Of course LTS versions of Ubuntu wouldn't have bleeding edge software,

Slightly unrelated, but when I need to proof read something I listen to it being read aloud by TTS. It's immediately obvious when something doesn't sound right.

You can use chrome with '--headless --print-to-pdf' instead of wkhtmltopdf, it worked better when I last looked into this around 2017-2018. Needed to generate a consistent pdf and couldn't rely on the users browser because th

I was only active on IRC in later years (early 2000's onwards) and there was definitely a lot of casual homophobia. Using 'gay' as a synonym for bad was extremely common, I picked it up as well. Calling someone a fag was done
