I think the reason developers (myself included) try, and re-try to make it work (Coredata + iCloud), despite all the bad experiences and bad stories is that everybody would like badly that it worked. Because if it worked it would be awesome

I think the real secret for coding better, is to know when to apply this advice (just looking for the answer you need without exploring anything else) and at other times maybe when you have more times, make some in-depth learning of broader

On this subject I happened to experience something funny. Maybe one year ago I installed a chrome extension (from the official chrome store) to provide an RSS icon directly in the URL bar in order to subscribe to RSS streams. So far so good

That's a good idea but I nevertheless think big clients (client reader + integrated access to server api) will win anyway because if you have to pay a client and then pay a subscription to a server to have access to an implementation of thi

Well done, it affects me a lot, it was one of two services I'm totally dependant from Google. The second one is Gmail, if I wasn't so lazy I would try to do something about it too, I'm not confortable with my mails stored at Google / in the

I don't know if it's a EU norm but in France eggs are marked with a sequence starting with [0-3]FR, with 0 being the best quality i.e. free range eggs, and 3 meaning battery eggs.

Most of the time people think things are necessarily black or white, but often it is somewhere in the middle and may also depend in the context. I believe he genuinely thinks what he wrote and it might be his truth. Of course, it doesn't di

It's about time to massively rollout FTTH in France. Paradoxically I think its deployment has been hampered by a good early ADSL coverage and the associated low prices on ADSL (with uncapped data). These low prices have decided the operator

I compare that to the http referer sent by browsers, it's useful for developers, highly unknown from non-developers and it's not really good from a privacy standpoint. I don't really know where the line between helping developers and protec

As msy replied there are for sure some informations the seller wouldn't have from a credit card. But more generally this is a good question, I don't know how much informations the merchant obtain from VISA when I purchase something online.
