That truly is sad, as execution and even distribution is just now a prompt with a credit card.

I was about to say as well, I don’t think I’d be interested in ever using this project but now I definitely never will. I wonder if they are vibe coding this for humans but have disdain for humans, why make it for humans?

Going down that trail, eventually ai will eventually learn how to manage merge conflicts better (or whatever new scam). Or it could simply rewrite its own fork and support it all without user direction or supporting the core effort. All pot

I disagree. As if a tool is customized via agents and something goes wrong, it should be the users issue to fix it. Say I want to customize a bank app (or sca tool) to use a nickname instead of my name, if it breaks then who fixes it?

What about the blue line indicates that? The blue line did not indicate anything to me as there’s no flow.

Except in this case for this app you’re simply complaining that your app is rejected on “being ai”. I am also on team Apple, as I have no idea what this app actually does.

In the ai-article op did say they’d do exactly that. Though it is surprising they left GitHub due to ““enshittification” of the platform under Microsoft’s ownership”, when it’s likely GitHub is using similar ai practices the op is and match

Ditto with this, if arxiv is just a hosting site then what’s different then a personal GitHub site hosting your paper? Ai and Google would pick it up eventually.

I’d say these are reasonable settings for most uses. Though do you know of surveys that back this up? I don’t mean to nit pick too much, I’d just like to see common uses and the data.

With the rise of ai, ai-based papers, and ais writing terrible papers; why are you surprised or frustrated? Wouldn’t you want some kind of barrier against slop?
