Sadly not sure the ecosystem is mature enough for any kind of standardization yet.

I don't know about America, but when comparing payment infrastructure in Europe vs. Asia, I'm always amazed at how bad the EU is. Hoping that this will work but I highly doubt it - most European banks were created a very long time

The proof of ownership system described above is a blockchain where every single block is produced at irregular timestamp and contain a single transaction.

As the link says, pretty common. Happens in most places (relatively) close to a desert.

There is no demand for the trip to happen at that price. Hence this will produce high inflation on imported goods, especially on basic necessities. Hence this will make the average British poor citizen.. poorer.

> That's really low, even for poorer European countries He said net salary. I know a lot of engineers from C schools in mid-size towns in France who are paid less than 2k euro net.

IMHO good move for the ecosystem overall. Beyond that, the formulation is really funny (bad?) though: > Trading will move into limit only starting December 28, 2020 at 2:30 PM PST, and will be fully suspended on Tuesday, January 19, 2021

Maybe, not sure. Would be nice to have some benchmarks. e.g. https://github.com/kyle-n/TypeSwift/blob/main/src/Array.ts#L... pretty sure using a flatMap will be faster in most recent environments.

Sure but what good is an education method if the teachers don't understand it. I don't doubt that if you had a great teacher that would work, but considering how focused French education is on mathematics, this was one of the main

AFAIK the idea at that time was to try to apply the Bourbaky method to teach kids elementary maths - e.g. try to explain the concept of sets before kids know how to add 2 numbers (I'm caricaturing but not that much - you had to explain

You have to put back the creation of the group in context though. Back then philosophers/mathematicians were kinda popular (think Sartre, Beauvoir and so on) so making such a group draw a lot of more public attention than it would now.

If you speak/read French, try to have a look at elementary/middle school math books from the 60's/70's in France. It was a disaster and forced a lot of kids to imagine they were bad at maths.

I mean the whole point of this is to have a crawler who look for the texts in your links, index them, then you can search a link when you just vaguely remember something the page in question mentioned.
