I'd love to hear about that experiment in more detail. People often cite Google's Understanding web pages better[1] as evidence that it's now OK to render everything with JS, but this is the first time I've seen someone

This is why I hate that cinemas offer a choice between 2D and 3D. I just want to see whatever the director intended and not have to try to hunt down which version is 'better'. Offering a choice makes going to the movies socially i

I kind of like having the page state in the URL like that - makes sending someone a link easier. See also: Discourse. They should fix it by not pushing those minor state changes to history, though. Probably an easy fix.
