I did something similar on our site a couple years ago. One nice thing about tying it into Google Analytics is you can analyze the effect of each type of error on your conversion rate, which helps prioritize your fixes.

The problem may just be that the business model that works on Apple's app store - direct sales - doesn't work as well on Android. David Edery: "Triple Town did 67% of its iOS revenue on GooglePlay. Confirms what I'd heard: f2p games are pro

Crediting the source doesn't mean it automatically falls under fair use. Pinterest's ToS state that you cannot pin material if you don't have copyright permission. Of course, this is probably a large percentage of what gets pinned.

Clearly what we need is a dummy password that leads to a bland profile where your "friends" all note how employable you are.

It seems like it would make daily budgets trickier since not all ads would be shown, and not necessarily on the same day they were served.

I'd pay lots of money for a stylish watch or bracelet for my wife that would alert her to incoming calls and texts. She (like many women) keeps her phone in her purse and rarely answers because she doesn't know it's ringing.

Not surprised to see it's Sergey Glazunov - he's been awarded seemingly dozens of Chrome bug bounties already.

I think his worry for the investors is misplaced - the BBB has been running a similar racket for years and seems to be doing just fine.

Title doesn't mention that this is in conjunction with an arrest - police already have some increased latitude in searches when arresting someone.

We didn't go with Rackspace/Akamai specifically because they don't have a custom origin pull - pushing your assets somewhere else is at the very least a pain, and if you have images or video that is dynamically sized based on the URL it's p

"Sales" might mean individual transactions, in which case the numbers make sense if prime customers place smaller orders on average.

Patrick Mckenzie has mentioned this a few times: hackers put links onto the web disproportionately more than the general population, so you should try to attract their attention, even though they're not your target market.

From outside appearances the manufacturers don't want to aid their competition by working in the open, and Google needs a next gen device to target. Now that Google is a manufacturer, they could publicly develop on a Google/Moto device. It'

I'm hoping this leads to Android being developed completely in the open, with open-source drivers as well.

It's really not much cheaper - if you look at the Zappos financials from when they were acquired, their margins were razor thin. All of that "free" shipping costs a lot of money. The real opportunity to lower markups is in manufacturers sel

That's a shame - this is my main complaint about bootstrap. If you do plunge ahead and do a bunch of color customization, it also makes upgrading to new versions a pain.

Those are the files I'm referring to - if you look in navbar.less for example, you'll see lots of color: @white; in the various navbar rules. It would be great if there was a single variable: @navbarTextColor: @white; and then

Glad to see there are some variables for setting things like the navbar colors - I just started adapting a site to the 1.4 version and had to start out by changing all of the rules individually so I could implement a different color scheme.
