Oh no - not my point at all. You can't pay the price. If the subsidies are stopped, the farmers have to sell their animals to slaughterhouses order of magnitude more, the slaughterhouses have to do the same with distributors, and those

Yeah - kind of like leaded gas and DDT, or BPA plastics, no one pays the costs when they are externalised to the environnement/population. No one paid for the damages caused by DDT - YOU are paying for it by having a crippled biosphere

There are a couple shops that are doing EV conversions already, for not that much compared to a new EV. The issue is that since the vehicle isn't designed for batteries and an electric motor, there is a lot of wasted space and the safe

11% of the population has diabetes, 15% prediabetic, 30% obese This is crazy. Diabetes is adding a lot of stress on health infrastructures in case of emergency (earthquakes and the likes). Insulin goes bad after two weeks, so you need a con

Quick overview - fluids that are more viscous at rest and become less viscous after flowing. This is the process behind quicksand and what keeps ketchup in the bottle until you hit the back and it starts flowing. Also used in some casting p

Not sure why this person is getting downvoted, these seems like fair questions. Edit: Now get why it is downvoted, but it's fair to note that farmers represent a small (10% from what I gather here) portion of futures, so I don't k

Software based stabilisation morphs and creates artifacts in the video because it's tough to track motion in space from erratic camera movements - using a gyro gives your software a neat little guide on camera position during the shot,

While it seems neat, the principle behind it seems to cause massive morphing and smoothing, and that's creating a lot or artefacting. This is fine for gopro footage or stuff like that, but for production video, the aim is to retain as
