Dont think this is as cut and dry as you make it out to be. The emergence of cloud providers + hosted solutions and the ongoing disappearance of on premise computing means its increasingly hard to figure out a business model for infrastruct

One thing to keep in mind if you use one laptop/phone, if there is ever a case / investigation against your employer your personal device might be called in.

I think the problem size is too small. Dialling up the max requests and setting thread count to 64 yields the per thread in multi thread to 1104. (I am guessing the the scheduler will take a while to bring all 64 threads up, so on small pro

Just built a 64 core workstation based on AMD Epyc cpus, seeing how fast my simulation workloads run on it brings a smile to my face.

Indians require transit visas when traveling through Canada. (I almost learnt this the hard way when flying through Canada, as a complete coincidence I had a canadian visa from a prior trip that was close to expiring)

MSVC would be really great if MSFT could solve their small file io overhead and enabled a mode where I could disable file modification notifications completely. Right now doing any compilation makes the anti viruses go completely crazy.

Reserve an appropriate amount of profits to make things right for the transactions that do not go as expected. How much to reserve needs to be determined on an ongoing basis based on the split of good / bad transactions. I think AirBnb
