And that's fine, assuming the user wants the app to know which ideas belong to them. From a UX standpoint, it's so much better to let the user kick the tires before requiring them to register.

I like the idea, but I don't see any reason why I should have to register before playing around with the app a bit. Let the user submit ideas and only require registration when they want to create their own private "bin".

I watched that for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It's quite a difficult discipline to practice, especially when it seems that every waking hour is spent completely plugged in. I aspire to do it, but so far it's been a struggle.

The only requirement I have for these things is that the after event drinks are held at a place where you don't have to raise your voice to have a conversation. Most pubs are satisfactory for that purpose. I've never seen anyone get complet

At the risk of making all of HN think I work for Udacity, which I don't, I'm just going to go ahead and recommend Udacity's CS101 "Building a Search Engine" class. It truly is awesome. I signed up late for it and am working through it now.

Yeah, I just started doing the course way late, since I just recently heard about it myself. You can still access the materials. It might be good motivation to haul through everything in time for the final exam. That's what I'm trying to do
