Some of the internal tools at meta have a feature kind of like this. Personally I don’t use it, but I bet some people like it.

I work at Meta :) The growth I watched in headcount over the last 4 years has been pretty amazing. Before Meta I worked at Reddit. More people were in my bootcamp class at Meta than the entirety of Reddit at the time. And they did bootcamps

I still daily drive an Apple Watch Series 3. I use it as a watch and a fitness tracker and have no complaints or reason to upgrade until it breaks. Battery life is still well over 1 day with my usage.

Zero chance of helicopters in cities after 9/11. You can’t fly helicopters over SF or Manhattan anymore except for medical purposes.

Technically git is distributed version control and should be workable even if GitHub is down. You could fetch from your coworkers directly even for instance. We’ve really fallen a long way if GitHub is a single point of failure.

IMO tiny ideas like this are mostly for fun and learning, they don't need to be unique. Build another take on a blog or a game or utility or whatever you like to do online, but put your own spin on it.

There’s incredible amounts of capital going into the crypto industry and FTX is one of the biggest players. There may be some froth but they seem like one of the least shady players in the space to me.
