Yes, my point is, that applies for a single coin. The conceptual shift I'm talking about here is that (my definition of fork here is) /another/ coin. Another coin (like ethereum, doge, whatever) is just another "fork&quo

Nobody has been able to explain this to me WRT cryptocurrencies and their "digital scarcity" quality: If people are free to create new chains out of thin air and build networks around it, how is anything digital "scarce"

You'll be surprised how much your predictions improve if you stop for a moment to do some back of the napkin calculations. Lots of overly optimistic or pessimistic news out there just to grab your attention. Having an edge in predictio

And if your company fails my company fails with it? How would I ever move out of this? Very impressive tech! But the upside is not worth the vendor risk for me. Edit: or maybe this is not an issue at all - but the website copy does not make

I'd like to see a todos added / todos disappeared graph that would account for the velocity of development of a project. For some, while the todos grow, the relative "todo per LOC" might decrease etc.

Yes, that is my point. Netflix cannot even say where and how to sign up inside the app as per Apple's policies. Apple would like them to sell subscriptions from App Store, but they are refusing because Apple wants a cut for the privile

Really? If I set up a shop in the USA, can I not dictate what I sell there and under what terms? "Making it harder to switch" is moot, once you start purchasing stuff in X platform it is already hard to switch since your purchases

But then if the shop is a dick to you, or it scams you, otherwise does a dirty on you, it would affect the credibility of the shopping center (how are they allowing scammers to rent shops here), even the concept of doing business with shopp

Yeah that is what I thought too. Maybe they are trying to use it as a "feature" - like it spontaneously got unstuck, nothing to do about it.

So I have 730k in bank account, but instead of using it, I borrow 730k and spend that money (how do you even decide "which" money you are spending anyways, it's all money) and pay interest on the loan? Why would I do that?

Doesn't matter what tether says because they are not audited. I could write "100% cash!" on a napkin and it would have the same credibility.
