Yes it has seemed to change quite rapidly in the last 12 months. I think Hacker News used to be mainly Start-Up, tech and business starters. Whereas now it is mainly start-up porn.

If you disagree with what I said please leave a comment. When comments that are idiologically "wrong" get downvoted without discussion then it leads to a hivemind mentality.

I think before people jump on the bandwagon they should think about Jobs state of mind when he wrote this. iPhone just launched and still vulnerable. Senior staff going to a competitor and also Personally poaching staff and being involved i

Dont forget that each machine you use is slightly different, so there are protocols that exist for those labs and those particular pieces of gear set up that way.

its weird I posted a microsoft page that got 30 likes in a hour or so, that was just as much a "sales" type page as this and it never made the front page. It would be interesting to see how they do it considering this has 3 points at the mo

My friend has a insulin pump similar to this http://www.medtronic-diabetes.co.uk/product-information/para... This seems to be a solved problem, if only someone could make a way for people to search out such things via the internet ;)

If Raspberry Pi was increasing its price on a certain day then I don't think people would complain. At least it's honest. Half the blog posts are just SEO for people in tech's businesses.

Jacquesm, I've seen a lot of your posts in the last week and can see you're pretty cut up about this whole thing. I think it might be a good time to follow Lessig's lead and give yourself a little time off to reconnect to your own family an
