Those being race, gender, creed, and sexual orientation I suppose? Still seems rather arbitrary, if I'm being honest. Acting for example; how is casting based on race legal? Or maybe it's not... idk. Interesting topic though.

How as a society do we decide appropriate discrimination vs. inappropriate discrimination? We discriminate constantly, every single of us - making choice of this person over that person. Is that wrong? when does it become wrong? is it no

Exactly where I was going to go. Economies are about allocation of finite resources (labor being one of those). If a company is so poorly ran that it can't determine the correct price it's willing to pay for labor through cost-b

"Blame technology and capitalism"? Are you advocating that a higher minimum wage would fix this? How exactly would pricing labor above it's actual value cause MORE of it?

Not debating that. I agree. I guess I just think there is a more morally justifiable way to go about it than edict. Again, this non-antibacterial soap belief doesn't seem like one that needs force to spread.

I guess I'm weird; I have no idea why the government has the ability to dictate what is and isn't in the soap that I choose to buy. I agree however, anti-bacterial soap is silly. Looks like a lot of people here agree. Looks like

the number of Americans who are no longer in the labor force has hit an all time high of 94.7 million. If one were to factor in the low labor force participation rate, the actual unemployment rate would be significantly higher than the head

I am painfully aware of what totalitarianism is... Should I not talk about it and warn against it until it's undeniably here? Sometimes it is very hard to figure where you would draw the line on political influence.

You're beef should be with government (crony-capitalism), not banking. A bank can't force you to bail it out, only government can do that. The "force" 100% resides with the government, not the bank.
