Except that's not how it works in the Android world. You have internal storage that needs to be freed up to hold apps. When that memory runs out, that's it. The SD card isn't for holding apps. We used to root Android for this

As I said, I'm conflicted. I've talked to a few shop owners who told me most people move off of them in short order, no different than when people start with Blu or any of the other more "cigalike" brands. In my interpre

Anything above 24 mL is considered dangerous if you are using refillable tanks. Very few people even bother to that high because it is much too strong. The most I could handle was 12mL, but that was on very low-powered devices. You go down

Spourious claims about the chemical makeup of vapor? Check. Misinformed statements about what science found about the dangers of vaping vs cigarettes? Check. Citations of studies with no peer review, that likely don't say what the arti

In the US, a contractor is strictly BYOD... If I'm using a company phone, computer, or anything else, I fully expect that everything is monitored and locked down. Add your email and other login stuff at your own peril. Be wary of your

Square may seem less important because of Stripe. This is also a very tech-centric viewpoint, as many B&M stores use Square.

The problem is that "Linux" is ambiguous. A comment below is agreeing and they use Debian. I've heard of Ubuntu being flakey. I used Fedora and Arch for years with zero issues (this is shocking to people who prefer LTS system

I guess as someone looking for a MacBook alternative within a small limit, doing PHP and design, this sounds great. I recently moved from Linux to MacBook after 7(?) years of Linux an exploratory foray into Windows 10. I simply don't t

I have to mostly agree here. There are many things that are full-on egregious. There are other things that are convenient and fairly vulnerable. I don't think these things are discussed enough, but they ought to be. Many things in SaaS

Getting into and maintaining SAG membership is very time consuming and expensive. You could work in the industry for years and never get in. Others get lucky and get in within a few months. A lot of people are SAG Eligible but can't af

The dirty secret is that there are thousands of humans listening in on these phone bot conversations. They have the power to press a button to override the endless loop. Amazing what they are spending to keep up illusions.

A lot of things we call classical today was actually pretty low down and vulgar music. Here's a bit of Mozart: http://mentalfloss.com/article/55247/3-dirty-songs-mozart Chopin, for example, wrote 59 marzukas,

Those people either have very short memories or believe the hype. A lot of the stuff outside the top 40 is barely passable. Sheesh, even top 40 is full of trash, and that's picking the "best" 40 songs over a 10 year span.

One only needs to translate all that Latin to figure out most of it means a form of dance. Classical music was pop for it's time. People danced, drank, and even had massive riots when a controversial composer came to town.

Advertising doesn't work that well if you look at the raw numbers. Assume you have a great campaign and awesome conversion funnel, so that you get 1% clicks and 1% conversion. The math is 100 x 100, or one sale for every 10,000 eyes wh
