I was just talking to a friend last night about how I didn’t know of any good off the shelf solutions for this sort of thing in the Node ecosystem like Laravel Spark. But it looks like this is also built in PHP. Is it headless- where the pe

I'd like to see an updated version of this talk - something that stuck out to me: "No picking up pennies" His example as to why this is bad was Kickstarter which was not bootstrapped, but a VC funded business. He also makes a

I just really liked the simplicity of Google Domains, and all the other registrars seem like they have other agendas. I'm sure I could move to a legacy option like Namecheap... I was just hoping that there was something better out ther

Also, does anybody know the future of the .app TLD? It was exclusive to Google Domains. I am trying to talk to Google Support but it's not clear that they know the answer.

Just curious - are you running some kind of debugger or profiling software through VSCode? Because VSCode is very fast to me, and I experience literally no input latency at all. And I have used Electron based code editors that felt slow to

I mean how does Python handle asynchrony? Callbacks? I’m not sure if that’s really better. I think my issue with it is where is Python widely actually used by programmers? It mostly seems popular with data science people. So it just feels l

Something that has gotten lost amidst all the pricing talk is that Reddit said their API would also stop serving any content marked as NSFW, essentially making it useless for any third party app (general use or moderator use) even if they c

The other thing about this that is so crazy is that services like Facebook Twitter and Instagram have all had heavily locked down APIs for a long time. Like, you couldn’t just start using their API you had to sign up and get approval. It mo

You aren’t even mentioning the NSFW poison pill they added. Even if the pricing had been workable, this was never designed to do anything but kill external API access. I definitely would have paid $6 a month to keep using Apollo.

Yeah but the article describes buying individual pills. That’s not a thing in real pharmacies. It really sounds like they’re just buying from drug dealers that have setup storefronts and I don’t think the overall conclusion of the article i
