Google doesn't know about qawk. A more general toolkit that does the same thing and (presumably) more: http://github.com/dkogan/vnlog

Don't know why that would be. I'm using GNU Make 4.1, but this has worked for years and years as far as I knew. Not a particularly useful feature, so I it doesn't really matter, but you messed up my fun fact. dima@fatty:&

Fun fact: your Makefile above is redundant. You can delete it entirely, and the implicit rules you're using here continue to work just fine.

Hm? There's a metrolink line that does exactly this, as the article clearly states.

Thanks. I think I already did most of those. But the tab bar is still there, taking up space. And apparently I can't remap keys without an extension, or something.

Speaking of which, does anybody know how to turn off tabs in firefox, and make it instead open a new window when it would like to open a new tab? My WM already has tabs.

I've had the opposite experience: compared to Debian, RPM distros feel like they were built by children. I guess YMMV :)

Delightful. There are several ways to deal with it. I do this: - For READING mail, my offlineimap knows about multiple accounts and puts them in different directories on disk - mu indexes the PARENT of all those directories, so as far as mu

Why wouldn't you use gnuplot? If you want a numpy interface, there's this: https://github.com/dkogan/gnuplotlib

Because C compiles to machine code and computers only understand machine code.

Traffic is a lifestyle choice. There is indeed a small minority of people that have decided to sit in traffic 3 to 5 hours per day in order to live in a large and/or cheap house in the boonies somewhere. But that's crazy, and most

I use gnuplot heavily. It was good 20 years ago, and it's good today. The problem with people rewriting the wheel, is that every new wheel misses lots of features from the tool they're trying to replace, and does many things diffe

Whoa. This is NOT a rough corner. It is a fundamental part of the language. Deferred variables are akin to functions in other languages, while immediate ones are more like variables in other languages.
