OK, then Apple should also be transparent and show how they meet all of these requirements no? Actually this should probably be judged by an independent organization. Great idea Apple! Kind of ironic that they are also requiring WPT complia

I recently got a bamboo straw in a drink and have to say that worked pretty well and can hopefully be made without pfas; just bamboo.

I'm in Europe but as far as I know we're still stuck with WebKit browsers here as well with no sign of any other browser engines being made available through any alternative app stores. I think Apple has made it theoreticallly pos

Intriguing, but I think VS Code's built in GitHub tunneling support is enough for me.

Has anything about Jira improved lately? I hadn't noticed. Still frustratingly slow, overly complex and unoptimized for developer experience. Heck I still can't refresh the sprint board without it changing from under me because it

Yes, mostly by using insulating (double) glass to let warmth in in the form of light that then warms up the interior. Think greenhouses. Surround that with poorly insulated walls and limited ventilation and in cold weather they'll leak

Still a bubble that will pop though. If only in the short term before things consolidate and mature as with so many other hypes.

An AC doesn't pump air but liquid; not water, but still, it's indirect as well.

This tool is not really relevant to my line of work, but I do wonder: Why is the AI (Muse) not named the same as the product (Scene)?

I'm not saying it's as hot here as it is in Florida. But we've been breaking records left and right up to the point where I've purchased an AC (a crappy mobile one for lack of better options here for rented apartments) b

So they basically have AC; they just don't allow you to set it below a certain temperature. And so lots of people will bring their own ACs to use besides the other one. I think this will end up producing more CO2 in the end..

We have high humidity in Europe as well. For example the average here in the Netherlands is 77% where in Florida it's 75% based on a quick Google.

Periodically open your windows wide. If the CO2 quickly builds up though, you could perhaps just leave some windows cracked open. Or you should get some proper ventilation installed. If CO2 is high then other pollutants are likely also high

I thought they were still no other browser engines available then WebKit (Safari)? You can only install other browsers, but they have to use Webkit under the hood. I think alternatives are now legally possible in the EU, but not a single br

I think you could do the same in native apps? So yeah, not much you can do about uncareful users. I suppose you could use something like an App store to provide some checks and a little more security. But then you're likely to run into

Ah, haha, CSS naked day was actually first? I do have to admit that most of what I do on the web is consume content and there most JS like analytics and ads is useless to me. So I guess I might actually try NoScript for a day after all.

Next up: CSS naked day? Seriously though, I respect the ideal of using HTML as much as possible for what it's made. But the web is more than just pure content sites. And Javascript provides a lot of nice things as well.
