This is much more representative; if you look at a country's population and at their politicians you will see large differences in age, education, wealth etc. This can be used to overcome that by selecting, as much as possible, a rando

Is there really something wrong with IPv6? Isn't this just another case of resistance to change and the envisioned cost of it vs the benefits? I think it's just a matter of (even more) time.

Seeing the demo did make me wonder why they chose cursor movement as a first achievement even though that's also possible using eye tracking. Still, seems like something that could greatly benefit people so I hope it will.

I wonder if/when real versions of Chrome and Firefox will become available through these stores. Or would that still not be allowed without using Safari WebKit as the base?

Of course there will be lots of molecules involved, but that doesn't make it any easier to understand let alone do something about it. In medicine and especially in psychology our functioning is a huge black box with only indirect know

OK, so a sort of catalog of your personal files across all of your devices and cloud services. Intriguing, but I don't see a practical use for myself yet. FYI: I noticed the links on the FAQ page to Tauri are incorrect; they link to:

I wouldn't say the Volkskrant is left wing. I always thought of it as a populist, i.e: right wing these days, paper. But I guess to US almost everything is left wing; whatever that really means. Unfortunately we seem to be following in

I wish TSDoc would also support this, not to mention get a little love and attention in general. The spec for code linking has never been finished and the tooling like typedoc is limited and cumbersome, not to mention inconsistent with how

Is it possible to create really reliable guard rails at all? And aren't those not just stifling undesirable but also better responses? Why not leave the rails off and leave it to users to guard themselves and perhaps suggest better pro

Not the only weak spot, but a great idea, yes. Certain apps have become like infrastructure, practically impossible to avoid and very valuable to citizens. So it makes sense to regulate it like this to bring into the control of those citize

To be honest I kind of miss the old skeuomorphic design days where you didn't need tons of animations and huge margins to make flat design usable.

Nobody uses iMessage _because_ it was crap and is still locked in. If it would just connect to other messaging networks I would probably switch to it as it could provide better standard integrations with other apps. Unfortunately products a

Ah good old meritocracy, it can't be that I'm doing so well largely based on luck can it? That would be unfair. Must be mostly about me working so hard. Other people are just lazy.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to use an existing programming language instead of cooking up numerous half baked templating languages?

I also applaud this and personally would prefer to just pay for services instead of being the product, but I'm afraid this is not a popular opinion. People don't want to pay, at least not knowingly. I'm curious how this will

How do these people imagine XR to be used? I don't see what 5G will have to do with that. Also I imagine bandwidth getting clogged quickly once this starts to really compete with wired internet? I mean better and faster connections are
